Downtown Plan

The City of Forest Lake’s Downtown Plan is intended to coalesce and communicate a vision, guide public investment, and influence private investment in the City’s Downtown Corridor. The plan was approved by the Forest Lake City Council on July 25, 2022.  A link to the approved PDF of the plan is found below.

On May 13, 2024, the Forest Lake City Council accepted recommendations for future redesign of the Lakeside Memorial Park shoreline.  The recommendations included the possible relocation of the downtown boat launch.  The study and its findings is found below.
